テラススクエア 歴史を継承する新たな核の創造TERRACE SQUARE Creating a New City Center Honoring History建築主 株式会社 博報堂、住友商事 株式会社、三井住友海上火災保険 株式会社、株式会社 大修館書店、安田不動産 株式会社所在地 東京都千代田区延べ面積 52,837m2Clients HAKUHODO Inc., Sumitomo Corporation, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd., TAISHUKAN Publishing Co., Ltd., and Yasuda Real Estate Co., Ltd.Location Chiyoda-ku, TokyoTotal oor area 52,837m2 神保町古書店街の南に建つ複合オフィスビルです。博報堂旧本館（設計：岡田信一郎、1930年）を復元し、歴史的まち並みを継承しながら、新たな賑わいの核となる店舗を導入しました。公共広場と一体的に設けた約2,000m2のオープンスペースには、生物多様性に配慮した在来種によるまとまった緑地を計画し、その緑を包み込むように各店舗にテラスを設けました。「織りなす」をテーマにカラーPCによる水平庇・鉛直柱型を強調し、それらによりPAL値低減を図っています。This mixed-use office building located in the second-hand bookstore district of Jimbo-cho is designed to serve as a new center of shopping and urban activity while preserving the historic townscape for future generations by restoring the old Hakuhodo main building (designed by Shinichiro Okada in 1930). The 2,000-square meter public open space planted with native greenery is aimed at fostering biological diversity.
