1教室棟教室棟は、学部ホールを8つの教室が取り囲む「ユニット型」の構成で、先生全員で教室棟内の子どもたちを見守る計画としました。学部ホールは集会でも利用するため、大型の車いす移動でも支障のない8m超のロングスパンによる無柱空間としました。両側からのはね出し構造としたトラス架構は「花びら型」の平面形に合わせて連続的に高さを変化させ、リズミカルな空間を演出しています。アリーナバレーコート１面分、約20×30mのアリーナに架け渡す屋根も在来木造に徹することとしました。高さ1.8mのトラスはスギの合わせ梁で構成しており、これにより約20mのロングスパンを実現しました。のびやかな水平庇とハイサイドライトによって適度な採光を確保し、屋根は極力フラットにして、他の勾配屋根との対比と、建物高さを抑えることに配慮しました。ArenaFor the volleyball court sized arena (gymnasium), approximately 20m x 30m, we also insisted on using locally produced timber for the roof. 1.8m high trusses composed of cedar flitch beams provide a approximately 20m long span. The well-extended horizontal eaves and high sidelights bring in ample daylight and the roof is kept as flat as possible in order to hold down the overall height of the building.Classroom BuildingsEach classroom building is composed of a hall surrounded by 8 unit-style classrooms, according to a plan that allows all the teachers to look after the children in the whole building. In order to make it possible for all the children to assemble in the halls and easily maneuver large-sized wheelchairs, we designed the roof to cover the long span of more than 8 meters without intervening posts. The trusses projecting from both sides continuously change in height following the “flower-petal”-shaped lines of the building layout, imbuing the space with a sense of rhythm.2122016 Summer 27WORKS
