真宗本廟（東本願寺）／阿弥陀堂・御影堂門先人の技と想いを200年後に伝える、最新技術を用いた修復Amida Hall (Amida-Do) and Founder’s Hall Gate (Goei-Do Mon), Shinshu Otani-ha (Higashi Honganji)Integrating the Latest Technology with Appreciation for Craftsmanship of the Past 建築主 宗教法人 真宗大谷派所在地 京都市下京区延べ面積 1,346m2（阿弥陀堂）／643m2（御影堂門）Client Shinshu Otani-ha (Higashi Honganji)Location Shimogyo-ku, KyotoTotal oor area 1,346m2 (Amida-Do) / 643m2 (Goei-Do Mon) 2008（平成20）年に修復完了した御影堂に続く、真宗大谷派本山の2棟の大規模伝統木造建築物の修復です。合わせて約16万枚の瓦葺き替えをはじめ、内陣金箔の全面的な貼り替え、木造変形性能を活かしつつ制振の考えを取り入れた耐震補強、破損各部の修復、防災設備の強化等を行いました。伝統技術と最新技術の融合を図り、安全性を確保することで、先人の技と想いを後世に伝えるプロジェクトとなりました。This restoration project involved two large-scale traditional-style wooden structures at the mother temple of the Shinshu Otani-ha branch of Jodo Shinshu following completion of restoration work on the Goei-Do founder’s hall in 2008. This work consisted of replacing approximately 160,000 roof tiles, replacing the gold leaf covering the inner sanctum, installing seismic reinforcements adapted to the capacity of wood structure to absorb deformation, restoring damaged parts of the buildings, and upgrading the fire protection systems. The project integrates traditional techniques with cutting-edge technology to ensure the safety of the buildings while passing down the arts and imagination of craftsmen of the past.
