ベトナム・ウォンビ市 都市マスタープラン見直し産業と観光、伝統と革新をつなぐ都市開発Replanning of Uong Bi City Master Plan: 2030 to 2050 VisionUrban Development that Bridges Industry and Tourism, Tradition, and Innovation世界遺産のハロン湾の西30kmに位置するウォンビ市は、北部山間に省の重要産業である炭鉱が存在する一方、ベトナム仏教発祥地であるイエントゥ遺跡が存在します。加えて、タイの有力工業団地デベロッパーであるアマタ社が南部低地で工業団地開発を進める計画を公表したところであり、今後、産業発展が見込める都市となっています。「産業と人の活力、伝統と革新の調和、Smart & Green」というビジョンのもと、北部の炭鉱・自然観光エリア、南部の産業エリアの間に、「新商業業務中心」「西部観光商業中心」「東部大学都市」という3つの新拠点をつなぐTOD*を用いた東西都市軸を構築する提案を行いました。The city of Uong Bi is home to the Yen Tu monuments of Buddhism in Vietnam, as well as coal mines, an important regional industry, in the mountains to the north. Amata, one of Thailand’s most powerful industrial park developers, has announced its plan to develop an industrial park in the southern lowlands, so the city is expected to see rapid industrial growth in the coming years.
