Unlike other clubs, FC Barcelona is run by its members, who are called socios. The large roof with its overhang reaching out from the center towards the city over all the terraces and walkways gives symbolic expression to the club’s unique democratic structure. By removing the exterior skin, the spectators become part of the scenery of the city. Rather than an iconic structure, we aimed to create a durable place to which people would feel attached and at home.サッカーの聖地、カンプ・ノウの改築計画です。FCバルセロナは「ソシオ」と呼ばれるファンにより運営されており、その民主性を、全周にわたって同じ形状の巨大な庇に覆われたコンコース・テラスで表現。外装をなくすことで、コンコースの観客そのものが都市の風景となるよう計画しました。ここではアイコンとしてではなく、時代を越え、人々に永く親しまれる心の拠り所を創り出そうと試みています。Feature | Annual 2016042016 Winter 29WORKS
