Photography｜エスエス／SS18近年開発が目覚ましい東京駅前地区に位置する「京橋エドグラン」は、新築した再開発棟と保存・改修を行った明治屋京橋ビル※の2棟で構成される、業務・商業・観光・交流機能を高度集約化した複合施設です。2棟の建物がともに引き立て合い、一体となった街並みを生む施設計画を目指しました。　再開発棟の高層部分を高さ31mまで持ち上げ、足元の空間に、東京駅・銀座・日本橋方面および地下で接続する銀座線京橋駅からの人の流れを受け止めるダイナミックなオープンスペース（ガレリア）を形成しています。そして、積層するオープンスペースに面するようにショップ、レストラン、観光施設やオフィスエントランスを配置し、多様性に富んだにぎわいの創出を図りました。　また、本施設は、周辺地域の帰宅困難者支援場所に位置づけられており、超高層ビルでは希少な中間免震構造の採用や72時間稼働する3,500kVAのビル用非常用発電機の設置など、積極的にBCP対策を実施し、安全・安心・高品質な街づくりを実現しました。1Located in the vicinity of the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station, where redevelopment has been proceeding at a rapid pace in recent years, Kyobashi Edogrand is a high density, mixed-use redevelopment complex of offices, shops and cultural facilities, consisting of a new tower and the preservation and upgrade of the historic MEIDI-YA Kyobashi Building.* The two buildings complement each other, firmly integrating the new and old.京橋二丁目西地区第一種市街地再開発事業 京橋エドグラン街に開いたオープンスペースがつなぐ、歴史と未来の交差点Kyobashi Edogrand: Kyobashi 2-chome West District Redevelopment Project Open Spaces Linking Architecture and the City: The Crossroads of History and the Future
