SPOTLIGHT earnestness of Nikken Sekkei’s design team. The team prepared detailed agendas for meetings, they took time to thoroughly explain their work using architectural models and computer graphic images, and they were always open to our opinions and concerns. They worked many long days with us and with the construction department to make the building better. During クライアントに聞くClient Comment市民に認められる建築｜趙 良華｜蘇州広播電視総台 投資開発センター プロジェクトマネージャ（工事管理部副主任）Architecture Local Citizens EmbraceZhao Lianghua | Project Manager, Investment Development Center, Suzhou Broadcasting System蘇州現代メディアプラザは2009年10月に国際コンペを行っています。中国国内の設計事務所6社と海外設計事務所10社をコンペに招待し、専門審査員の審査を行い、最終的に日建設計の計画案を一等に選びました。この案は蘇州市と蘇州工業園区計画建設局の双方からも承認を得られ、設計業務に着手することができました。　設計業務を進めるなかで、日建設計の設計チームの真摯な態度06に我々は感銘を受けました。打ち合わせの時、彼らはいつも前もって検討議題を提出し、さまざまな建築模型やCGで細かく説明した上で、我々の意見をよく聞いてくれました。また、より良い建築をつくるために、深夜まで我々や施工部門と一緒に計画の検討を重ねることもありました。施工段階でも、何度も現場まで足を運んで状況を確認し、問題を発見したらすぐに指摘し修正を行ってきました。The international competition for the design of Suzhou Modern Media Plaza was held in October 2009.
