Scale 1:6,000050100150200mJR観音寺駅JR Kan-Onji Station一の谷川 Ichinotani River敷地は香川県の観音寺駅からほど近い、中心市街地の旧市立小学校と幼稚園の跡地に位置します。旧市民会館が老朽化し、耐震などの観点から建て替えを余儀なくされたことで、新たな文化芸術の創造を支援する拠点が計画されました。市の魅力を発信・創造・支援する施設として、市民が身近に感じ、永く親しまれる市民会館を目指しました。In replacing its old civic center due to the need for improvements and seismic reinforcement, city of Kan-Onji in Kagawa prefecture planned a facility to support the creation of new culture and arts.
