Nikken Sekkei Research Institute analyzes information about cities using the latest information on urban spaces. An example of our efforts is the Land Value Map of Japan. Compiled using public information such as public land price data and pre-fectural land price survey data, the map analyzes, evaluates, and helps identify the changes taking place in urban structures and the power of cities from a variety of perspectives between 1983 to now. The map allows users to: (1) Quickly identify changes occurring in urban struc-tures and the power of cities over the course of time; (2) Analyze whether land prices exceeded or fell behind the average land price increases within a given time period; (3) Evaluate how the implementation of large-scale developments and railroad development affected land values. For example, the map enables the visualization and quantification of land price increases in project areas caused by the implementation of large-scale develop-ments such as Tokyo Midtown and Tokyo Skytree Town. It also improves communica-tion with the various stakeholders about the effectiveness and the measured effects of projects.─We look forward to continuing active research and building the foundations for urban information by leveraging our accu-mulated ability to provide architectural, urban, and environmental solutions.NSRIのホームページにて、Land Value Mapのデータを公開しています。下記の2次元バーコードよりご覧ください。e Land Value Map is available on NSRI’s website.
