The station regeneration project sought not only to eliminate crowding by streamlining and accelerating the local and intercity transportation network, but also to create a state-of-the-art station befit-ting Guangzhou’s “grand central station.” The industrial urban fabric surrounding the station was restructured in such a way as to provide impetus for integrated revitaliza-tion of not only the station but the city as a whole.0200m062018 SUMMER35Feature | WORKS
