Lately the poor qual-ity of the indoor environments of elder care facilities has been coming to public atten-tion. NSRI has developed a 100-point scale for measuring the wellness performance of facilities based on equipment installed, maintenance and control of equipment, and indoor environment measurement data. Facilities that showed high figures on this scale are well built, properly equipped, and appropriately managed.
