115.75ｍ12.60ｍ15.75ｍ12.60ｍ15.75ｍ12.60ｍ15.75ｍ12.60ｍ15.75ｍZONE AZONE BZONE CZONE D+0.35m±0 m+0.7 m実験室のゾーニングLaboratoryZoning2階床レベルLevel 2 Floor Heights2種類のスパンTwoTypesofSpans実験フロア＋オープンフロアの2層構成本計画ではまず、機能連携やコミュニケーションの活性化を重視し、一般的な研究施設のようにフロアを縦に積層するのではなく、できるだけ低層の大きな平面空間とすることをベースにしました。1階に実験室エリアを集約し、2階にフリーアドレスオフィスや会議室・カフェなどのオープンな機能を配置。それらを複数の縦動線・吹き抜け・コミュニケーションスペースでつなぎあわせる構成になっています。縦動線や吹き抜けは複数個所に分散させ、2階のワークプレイスに対し「市松」状の平面配置としました。これにより、上下階の密接な機能関係性、立体的な回遊性が生まれます。Two-Layer Composition of Laboratory Floor + Open FloorThe design emphasizes the linking of functions and enliven-ing of communication. Rather than stacking floors vertically as in a typical research facility, our design provides the max-imum floor space possible in the least number of floors. We gathered the laboratories on the first floor and placed open functions such as free-address workplaces, conference rooms, and cafe space on the second floor. The spaces are connected with a number of vertical circulation features, atria, and com-munication spaces. Vertical circulation and atria are distribut-ed and integrated within the “checkered” pattern of the work-place second floor.
