This size is calculated to invigorate communi-cation. We settled on a plan area of 200 by 300 meters, and an occupant capacity of 2,000 as the standard for each town. The design focuses on the exterior environment rather than the buildings to make the “ground” more attractive than the “fig-ure.” Towns were planned around a central plaza, with a cafe-teria, cafes, and courtyards placed among the offices to create attractive exterior spaces alongside streetscapes planned to human scale. 対話を活性化する環境づくり街の規模は、コミュニケーションの活性化の観点から、一人が日常生活のなかで行動する範囲で決めました。そこで街の大きさは200m×300mの平面的な広がりと、2,000人程度の収容人数をひとつの目安としました。設計では、「図」である建物より、「地」である外部環境をいかに魅力的にするかに注力しました。街は、中心部に広場をもち、その広場の周囲にオフィスとともに食堂やカフェ、中庭などの環境に潤いを与える施設を配置。ヒューマンスケールの街路空間とともに魅力的な外部空間を提供します。街の構成ダイアグラムDiagram of the composition of the individual town182020 SUMMER43Feature | WORKS
