生産施設・物流施設・研究施設のこれからを探るExploring the Future of Facilities for Production, Logistics, and Research五十君 興 Ko Isogimi日建設計 設計部門 プリンシパル Principal, Architectural Design Department, Nikken Sekkeiここ数年IoTが製造業に革命をもたらす動きがIndutry 4.0と表され、企業間のオープンイノベーションの機運が加速してきました。日建設計はこれまで、生産施設・物流施設・研究施設の豊富な設計実績を積んできましたが、さらに2017年に設計部門内に先端系施設デザインラボ（Advanced Industry4.0 Design Lab：AI4）を設け、この分野の施設におけるイノベーションのあり方や進め方を計画初期段階からクライアントに提案していく活動を進めてきました。これは、図にて示している「スマイルカーブ」の左側で、計画の価値を高める活動です。 先進的な生産拠点施設は、生産×物流×研究が融合した形態に移行する傾向があり、計画の初期段階からその可変性を考えておくことが大切です。その代表例が、香港の再工業化とスマートプロダクション推進のために香港サイエンステクノロジーパーク（HKSTP）が整備するAdvanced Manufacturing Centre（AMC）です。本プロジェクトは、国際プロポーザルにより日建設計のAI4のコンセプトをもとにした案が選ばれました。AMCはIndustry 4.0に準拠したスマートレンタルファクトリーとして、香港で最初のパイロットプロジェクトで、最先端物流システムとハイスペックの採用により、各階のテナントファクトリーの要求性能を満たしています。そしてその建築計画は多様な研究施設にも応用可能です。香港の設計事務所ウォン・タン・アンド・パートナーズとの協働設計で2022年の完成を予定しています。The recent fourth revolution in manufacturing industry brought about by the Internet of Things (IoT) has accelerat-ed open innovation. Building upon a wealth of experience in production, logistics, and research facilities, the Advanced Industry 4.0 Design Lab (AI-4) was created at Nikken Sekkei in 2017. In the early stages of design for our clients AI-4 offers ideas on the role of innovation and the means for its advance-ment. Corresponding to the left side of the “smile curve” shown below, this process leads to increased design value. Planning for flexibility from the early stages of design is important as advanced production facilities move toward integration of production, distribution, and research. The Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) led by Hong Kong Science Technology Parks Corporation is a prime example in promoting re-industrialization and migrating to smart production. Our technical design proposal based on AI-4 concept was awarded the industrial architectural consultancy against other international submissions. AMC is the first pilot project in Hong Kong showcasing how we respond to the emerging trend of smart factories in a multi-story building for multiple tenants’ operational requirements, adopting high standard of specifications and cutting-edge logistics system. The project was designed in collaboration with Wong Tung & Partners Ltd. It is scheduled for completion in 2022. 日建設計はコア領域である企画開発、設計、監理に加え、事業の各段階でクライアントの戦略立案・実行のサポートを提供。AI4は、上流域でプロジェクトの付加価値向上に資するサービス展開を目指している。In addition to the core area that includes planning and development, design, and construction management, Nikken Sekkei provides support for the client’s strategy-making and implementation.
