人と人とが“Xクロス”するキャンパスA Campus Built for Interaction大同大学Xクロス棟 Daido University Building X建築主 ： 学校法人 大同学園所在地 ： 名古屋市南区延べ面積 ： 15,392m2Client : Daido UniversityLocation : Minami-ku, NagoyaTotal oor area : 15,392m2Nikken Sekkei + NSD Xクロス棟は、老朽化した既存の建築学科棟を移転・新築した校舎です。分散配置されたラウンジやラーニングコモンズ、ガラス張りの講義室、研究室など、学生が集い、互いに見合う空間をつくることで、ともに学び、ともに切磋琢磨する、本来の「学びの場」の創出を心掛けました。昨今のコロナ禍でリモート授業が多くなった際にも、「人と人とがつながる」ことを大切に感じられる校舎となりました。Building X replaces the university’s old architecture-department building on a new site. We aimed to create a true “seat of learning” where students “cross paths” (X), with widely dispersed lounges and learning commons and glass-walled lecture rooms and labs, benefitting from their mutual energy and experience.
