Phoogaphytr｜野田東徳［雁光舎］／Harunori Noda [Gankohsha］ 「CLT二方向フラットスラブ」による新しい教育空間Cross-Laminated Timber for a New Kind of Education Space CLT panel construction was adopted for this two-story school building. Taking into consideration the need to connect to the existing building and the height restrictions imposed by the location in a designated sce-nic district, we used two-way CLT flat slabs with no exposed beams in order to mini-mize the height of the floors and building while maximizing the ceiling height. The semi-fireproof construction design allowed us to use CLT for eave soffits, classrooms, staircases, and other elements, emphasizing the presence of the wood material. In order to create a space that encourages children to consider the environment, we included features such as signs describing the types of wood and their region of origin.事業主 ： 学校法人 昭和学院所在地 ： 千葉県市川市｜延べ面積 ： 1,468m2Client : Showa Gakuin School CorporationLocation : Ichikawa, Chiba Pref.｜Total floor area : 1,468 m2Nikken Sekkei昭和学院小学校 ウエスト館 Showa Gakuin Elementary School West Wing12CLTパネル工法を用いた木造2階建て校舎です。既存校舎との接続および風致地区における高さ制限を考慮し、階高・建物の高さを最小化しながら天井の高さを最大限確保するため、梁型が出ない「CLT二方向フラットスラブ」を採用しました。準耐火構造の燃え代設計を採用することで、外部軒天や教室、階段などをCLTあらわしとし、表裏のない木材の存在感を強調しています。樹種や産地を表示した木育サインなどにより、子どもたちが自ら環境について考える場づくりを目指しました。
