Phoogaphytr｜益永研司／Kenji MasunagaThe interior design for guestrooms in this hotel is based on the spirit of hospitality of a Japanese tea gathering in which the host entertains a single guest (ikkyaku ittei). The refined atmosphere is enhanced by contem-porary expression of traditional interior features such as wood latticework, tatami flooring, fusuma sliding panels, hanging scrolls, and tea utensils.
