Here we introduce two university projects that were supported by Nikken Sekkei Construction Management (NCM).Tezukayama Gakuin University’s Osakasayama campus was integrated with its Izumigaoka campus, in the city of Sakai. For the university library, free flowing cir-culation routes were created, encouraging movement and giving new life to a place which, while located at the center of the university, had seemed closed and unap-pealing. The through-passage “Library Walk” and increased open spaces encourage rich encounters with books, transforming the library from a storage place for books to a place to mingle with books.
