Project Management That Goes Beyond the Scope of Architecture to Support the Creation of Experiences
The Japan Government Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai In this role, I was responsible for project management tasks involving cross-functional coordination among stakeholders across a wide range of fields, including architecture, exhibitions, biogas plants, operations, public relations, virtual experiences, and web and social media.Focusing on sharing the overall vision, I clarified roles across disciplines, designed decision-making processes, and provided support for cost and schedule management to ensure the coherence and smooth progress of the entire project. Through management that extended beyond architecture, I helped bring the Japan Pavilion—which welcomed a total of approximately 1.81 million visitors—to fruition.
