A variety of environmental adjustment mechanisms were built into the modular grid-design ceiling, starting with radiant heating and cooling panels arranged in a 0.6×0.6m ceiling grid configuration. The modular system allowed for nearly all the radiant heating and cooling panels to uniform in size, streamlining installation and maintenance. LED light fixtures with DC power supplies were positioned between the grid panels in continuous lines, creating a seamless lighting arrangement. This design increases the amount of visible light in one’s field of vision, enhancing the perception of brightness. The zone around the perimeter incorporates chilled beams within the ceiling to maintain a constant interior temperature, effectively mitigating fluctuating solar radiation and external temperatures.
