Completed in 2013, the campus houses over 40,000 employees and 20 buildings, including offices, an auditorium, a learning centre, a dormitory, and short-term residential accommodations, and can host a range of sports activities. A small Japanese tea garden allows meditative strolls.Built-up AreaWith design commencement in 2003 and several subsequent development phases, the plan incorporated many-large scale features for an Indian project. These include majestic glass façades that lighten the building appearance and admit natural light for offices, as well as sun shading to prevent overheating. This campus has been awarded the LEED EBOM (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - Existing Building Operation & Maintenance) Platinum certification by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Following the success of the inspirational Infosys IT Park, Nikken Sekkei was invited to design the twin parks in Pune and other IT campuses elsewhere in India.Number of Buildings48MAIN TECHNICAL DATAINFOSYS IT PARK50.5 ha505,000 m220
