21特別な存在感を放つ建物として敷地は中之島を望む土佐堀川沿いにあり、大阪を代表する中之島の景観の中にあってもこの建物は特別な存在感を備えています。外観は、黄きたつやまいし竜山石の擬石ブロックによる温かみのある外壁と彫の深い窓が規則正しく並ぶ近代的なデザインですが、特徴的なイオニア式オーダー柱をもつ玄関が北と東西にあり、建物を印象付けています。内部は3つの玄関を結ぶように大理石張りのホールがあり、営業室やエレベータホールへの動線となっています。　3層吹き抜けのボリュームをもつ南側の営業室は、この建物の最も象徴的な空間で、細部にまで凝った意匠のデザインで飾られています。このような歴史的価値が高い部分は残し、執務室や会議室などは、現代の新しい意匠でつくり直すことになりました。Imposing and Modern on the TosaboriSituated on a site facing Nakanoshima across the Tosabori river, this building exudes a very special presence, even among the many large and prestigious edifices that stand on Nakanoshima. Clad with blocks of yellow, cast Tatsuyama stone, the exterior has a feeling of warmth and the design is modernistic, with orderly rows of deeply articulated windows, yet classic, with imposing entrances flanked by Ionic columns on the north, east, and west sides of the building. The inside has a central, marble-paneled hall tying together the three entrances and leading to the business offices and elevator hall.The business offices on the south side and the three-floor-deep atrium make up the most symbolic parts of the building, and are replete with well-crafted design elements and details.
