News Reception Held to Commemorate the Opening of the Nikken Sekkei Barcelona Office2015201691024FC120FC西The Nikken Sekkei Europe Barcelona Office (Barcelona Office) was established in Spain when Nikken Sekkei participated in the international design competition for the renovation and expansion of Camp Nou in 2015. In September 2016, the office was relocated to Avinguda Diagonal, and is now in full operation. On October 24, a reception commemorating the opening of the Barcelona Office was held at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona, Spain, with the attendance of some 120 people including FC Barcelona team members. Congratulatory words on behalf of the distinguished guests were given by Consul General Naoto Watanabe of the Japanese Consulate General in Barcelona, and Espai Barça Commissioner Jordi Moix, FC Barcelona.
