04SPOTLIGHTWith a television station at the core of its facilities, this complex forms a hub for cultural dissemination in the new development district of China’s ancient city of Suzhou.Expressing traditional materials and motifs in modern ways, the building is a physical manifestation of the concept of “tradition and innovation” in Suzhou culture. 中国の古都・蘇州の新開発区に建つ蘇州テレビ本社を中心とした新しい文化発信拠点です。蘇州文化の伝統的な材料やモチーフを現代的に表現することで「伝統と創造」を体現しています。左：「メディア広場」。中空に張り出したガラスのキューブ部分は、テレビスタジオ。右：東側全景。向かい合うL字型のツインタワー。最高部の高さは214.8m。左は商業、サービスアパートメント、ホテルなどが入るホテルタワー。右は蘇州テレビ本社、テナントオフィスなどが入る本社タワー。Left: Media Plaza. The glass cube cantilevered over the plaza houses a television studio. Right: View from East. A pair of L-shapes towers face each other. The office tower on the right reaches a maximum height of 214.8meters, accommodating the Suzhou Television Headquarters and tenant offices.
