While utilizing the latest technologies, the project accorded high priority to applying and carrying on traditional techniques, preserving the building’s value as a cultural asset. Special care went into this project: Seismic reinforcement leveraging the inherent deformation properties of wooden structures; improvement of disaster prevention performance; sliding and reusing the scaffolding and temporary roof structure; and consideration for the environment. A general contractor took charge of general management including maintenance and safety, and 48 specialists were contracted separately for the three buildings. The “cost-on” subcontracting method was adopted for the first time in a cultural asset restoration. The experienced general contrac-tor mobilized technical experience to shorten the construc-tion period and augmented transparency and efficiency. 体制・発注区分|Organization and Contracting Scheme本事業では、3棟全工事を48の専門工事に分け、その特殊性に応じ、きめ細かく発注方法を選定。すべての発注手順、選定経過を発注者である宗派と共有し、宗派の議会による承認のもと行うことで、寄進事業運営面での透明性を確保した。e construction work for the three buildings was divided into 48 specialized projects, and contracting methods were carefully selected aer considering the special characteristics of the work.
