In contrast to the highly self-contained existing facility, various commercial exhibition venues are accessible from the public spaces that extend into the site from the surrounding streets and park at multiple levels. In a departure from the standard tower and commercial podium format, this complex introduces mid layer of intermediate floors, creating a dynamic external appearance. With the mid layer floors planned to accommodate mixed-use functionality, the complex overall has ample flexibility to absorb future diversifications of function built into its spatial configuration.122019 WINTER41Annual 2019 | WORKS
