To encourage interchange across different grades, the homerooms for all six grades are located on the second floor, one classroom from every grade in each building. At the second floor the buildings are all connected via open corridors so students and staff can easily navigate around the school. The 都心郊外に残る緑豊かな敷地の原風景を活かし、森・光・風を感じる、2階建て分棟配棟の学び舎を設計しました。異学年の人間関係を育むため6学年の全ホームルームを2階にまとめ、各学年1クラスごとに3つの棟へ分配し、改修校舎も含めすべてを渡り廊下で結んで回遊性を高めています。ホ－ムルームは「合わせ格子フレーム」による木立の中にいるような心地の良い木架構とし、「第2の家」と子どもたちに思ってもらえるよう1室ごとに家型に組上げました。homerooms feature exposed timber lattice truss frames that create the pleasant feeling of being below a canopy of trees, and each homeroom is designed to give the children a feeling of being in a “second home.” 212019 WINTER41Annual 2019 | WORKS
