全国63自治体からの提供木材を組み立てた仮設建築Temporary Structure Built with Timber Donated by 63 Municipalities Across Japan選手村ビレッジプラザ Village PlazaPhotography｜©Tokyo 2020｜写真は、2020年8月時点/内装整備前Photographs as taken in August 2020, prior to work on the interior2021年に東京で開催される世界的なスポーツ大会に際し、選手の生活を支える施設です。使用する木材を全国63自治体より借り受け、建物のさまざまな箇所に使うことで多様性と調和を表現しました。施設は大会後には解体し、木材は各自治体へと返却され公共施設などでレガシーとして活用されます。そのため、後利用のしやすさを考慮した木造仮設建築物として計画しました。The facility was built to provide daily life support for athletes at international sports events held in Tokyo in 2021. The wood used to express diversity and harmony in various parts of the building was received on loan from 63 municipalities across Japan. The timber will be returned to those entities and used in public buildings to carry on the legacy of those momentous events.
