黄浦江を望みテラスを散策する“山水”型環境オフィス “Mountains and Water” Eco-friendly Offices with Terraces for Strolls Overlooking the Huangpu River 華泰保険上海本部 Huatai Insurance Shanghai Building上海万博跡地の中心部に建つ保険会社の上海本部ビルです。隣接する赤い万博中国館などの都市的アイコンと、周囲に広がる黄浦河や緑地の豊かな景観を借景に、“山水”地形をイメージした環境共生建築を目指しました。建物は、ずれながら連なる12のテラスをもつ商業とオフィスで構成されています。往来する利用者の動きを介して、屋内と屋外の空間が混ざり合い、石塊の建築が次第にランドスケープに融解するような環境を実現しました。金融街の玄関口に位置しており、新しい街のシンボルとなっています。The Shanghai branch building for an insurance company stands in the center of the former Shanghai World Expo site. Borrowing the landscape created by urban icons like the neighboring red Chinese pavilion, the Huangpu River, and the rich greenery of the surrounding area, we aimed to create an environmentally friendly build-ing in the image of mountains and water. The building is composed of commercial spaces and offices with a series of 12 stag-gered terraces. The environment allows indoor and outdoor spaces to comingle through the users’ comings and goings, and succeeds in a stone structure that merges with the landscape.
