Efficient use of the site made it possible to secure the number of classrooms required, and a new campus gate was established that opens the campus to the town. To implement the university’s slogan “Active Learning Everywhere,” open spaces that can be used for studying and relaxing were placed here and there on each floor or in staircases. The entire building was envisioned as infra-創立140年を機としたキャンパス再編における新校舎計画です。複雑な敷地を有効活用し、再編に伴う教室数の確保や、街へ開く新たなキャンパスゲートの両立を図りました。また、大学が推進する「どこでもアクティブラーニング」を実現するため、各フロアや階段に憩いや学びの場所として利用できるオープンスペースを点在させ、校舎全体を学生の主体性・多様性を育む受け皿として設えました。structure to foster student independence and diversity.192020 WINTER45Annual 2020 | WORKS
