東京駅前、京橋に建つハイグレードオフィスと美術館*1からなる超高層建築です。1951年当時、日本の最先端建築をこの地で目指した石橋正二郎*2の哲学を継承し、社会環境と技術の先端をデザインで体現した、新たな価値の創造が求められました。コンピュテーショナルデザインによる離散型アルミルーバーをはじめ、無数の本邦初の技術が散りばめられています。ここには、街とアートがつながり、働くことを刺激し文化・芸術を楽しむ体験があります。The super high-rise building in Kyobashi, near the south exit of Tokyo Station, is composed of high-quality offices and a museum.*1 A design was sought that honors the philosophy of Shojiro Ishibashi,*2 who strived to create cutting-edge archi-tecture on the site in 1951, and expresses a new value system that embodies the latest social environment and technologies. The building is full of first-in-Japan technol-ogies including the use of computational design for an aluminum louver system that responds to specific conditions on differ-ent sides of the building.
