The site is located in the arts-and-culture-oriented Opera District, one of a number of urban planning areas developed by Emaar Properties, a leading player in the Middle East real estate market. Within walking distance are cultural venues including the Opera House and Dubai Mall—one of the world’s largest shopping malls—as well as waterfront promenades that radiate from the towering Burj Khalifa building.
