The use of triple- glazed windows reduces heat inflow and insulates against cold. Thermal simulations were conducted to demonstrate the impact of external load on the interior air conditioning, and by using chilled beams that induce airflow at the ceiling together with a radiant heating and cooling system that incor-porates the concept of traditional Korean ondol underfloor heating, a comfortable thermal environment was created with no unpleasant air conditioning drafts.21
