Over the past few years, society has been facing increasingly diverse and complex issues that call for solutions from multi-ple angles. We have therefore decided to promote efforts to create a better social envi-ronment by connecting various internal and external parties to engage in co-creation, with our headquarters serving as the trial site for a new type of office space. We hope the benefits that result from the experiment can be passed on to our clients who are struggling to address the same types of issues, as well as to society as a whole. 近年、日本の建設領域では、建築物の全工程を一元管理するDX推進、すなわちBIM活用の促進による生産性の向上が求められています。日建設計は発注者のBIM活用のメリットを分かりやすく整理した『BIM USES DEFINITIONS Vol.1 BIM を活用するプロセスやタスク やさしいガイドブック』を制作しました。解説にイラストや事例を使って専門知識をもたない発注者でも直感的に理解できる内容としています。本ガイドブックの作成・効果検証は令和4年度国土交通省BIMモデル事業の一環として実施され、検証結果は国土交通省および日建設計のホームページで公開しています。In recent years, there has been demand in the Japanese construction field for the pro-motion of digital transformation (DX) to consolidate management of all construction operations—in particular, the promotion of Building Information Modeling (BIM) uti-lization to increase productivity. Nikken Sekkei has produced “BIM Uses: Definitions Vol. 1: A Simple Guide to Processes and Tasks for Using BIM,” a handbook that lays out the benefits of BIM utilization for clients in a clear and concise format. The hand-book uses illustrations and case studies to provide explanations that even clients with-out specialized knowledge can intuitively understand. The handbook was produced and verified for effectiveness as part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) FY2022 BIM Model Project.
