1324 : 多種多様なイベントを、個人・現業・社会の潮流の3種に分類して開催。社内外のコラボレーションから始まるチャレンジの加速を目指す。5: 誰にとっても居心地のいい場所づくりを目指し、雑談、BAR、本棚、さまざまな関わり方で人がつながる。1 : 空間を間仕切る木製什器はユニット化しており、将来的なプラン変更に柔軟に追従できる。2 : 原寸図を表示しVRで空間を体験するなど、デジタルを用いた試みを発信。実プロジェクトの検討にも活用している。3 :「誰が使うか」ではなく、「何をするか」にフォーカスした利用者を問わないトイレ。Styling、Relax、Refreshの3つのテーマのしつらえの異なる個室。12共創・実験のための空間づくりの特徴PYNTのフロアは大部屋仕様の1ルーム空間に3列の木製什器を配置して、空間を緩やかに3つのゾーンに分けています。手前はアクティブでパブリックな場、奥に行くにつれてゆっくりと静かに過ごせるように、家具の配置や高さを変えることで、多様な人々が共存できる場づくりを行っています。加えて、利用者の動線上に配されたコミュニティチームが、自然な形でセキュリティ上の配慮を行うと同時に交流のきっかけを誘発します。また、新領域の取組みを展示する「Garage」、デジタル技術を用いた「XRスタジオ」、属性ではなく、機能で使い分ける新たなトイレの姿を模索した「Toilet」など、自社の取組みを実際の空間体験を通じて発信する設計事務所ならではの実験場としています。Distinctive Features of PYNT, a Space for Experimentation and Co-CreationPYNT’s large, single open floor features three rows of wooden fixtures that are arranged to gently divide the space into three areas. The floor design allows diverse people to co-exist: the area near the staircase is public and lively, while in the back section the layout and furniture height lend themselves to a relaxed and quiet milieu. The presence of community team members along users’ circulation routes allows for non- intrusive security and opportunities for exchange. PYNT serves as a testing ground, one that is uniquely integral to an architectural design firm and shares Nikken Sekkei’s projects through real and firsthand experiences. Examples are the “Garage” area where endeavors in new fields are exhibited, the “XR Studio,” which features digital technology, and the “Toilet,” which explores new lavatory concepts that focus on functions rather than user attributes.
