Approximately one-third of the space is the guest reception area used as the platform for connecting the company to the outside. The remaining space is divided into a “Pitch Area,” a “Practice Area,” and a “Locker Room Area,” providing environments where employees can choose from for their work mode. Professional community managers are on hand to connect people and enliven their interactions. The intro-duction of a personal concierge service to provide private consultation is aimed at supporting employees both in their work and private lives. We describe this experimental site as the “O3 (Osaka Osekkai Office),” a place where the company gets closely involved with employees’ work and life and which demonstrates how NCM is a place where “first, we show that we can change ourselves.” 1 : The Guest Area is an open and hospitable area that entertains both employees and their guests.2 : Children of company employees collaborated in the creation of the wall art. 3 : The Pitch Area offers spaces to suit a range of collaborative activities.4 : Art and decorative objects give the lounge area a comfortable, home-like quality.5 : The large conference room features art on the theme of “Communication Disconnection in the City.”
