Utilizing features such as movable furniture, partition curtains, and a dimmable, color-changing lighting system, we turned a 200-square-meter studio space into a highly flexible office capable of meeting the diverse needs of our designers. The office also brings added value to clients, with features including a wall-to-wall projection screen to facil-itate presentations and meetings for reviewing furniture samples and mockup designs. With an in-house event in 2023 attended by over 1,000 people among its many lively programs, Trial Lab. is truly a space where new workplace possibilities take shape.1: Employees use the free-address workspace daily for work and meetings. The office was purposefully designed without fixed furniture or partitions. Along with the Nikken Space Design Tokyo office in the Korakuen Building, Trial Lab. can be used for brainstorming and projects to encourage a free, creative work style.2 : A presentation utilizing the 9-meter-wide projection screen.
