1208ワークプレイスを通して向き合うカーボンニュートラルの実践ビルオーナーの銀泉株式会社と共同で、既存ビルの省エネルギー化の実証実験を行っています。テナントである日建設計がさまざまな環境を自ら体験・実践し、オーナーにもフィードバックを行うことでカーボンニュートラルに向けた新たなソリューションを共創していきます。　取組みのひとつとして、オーナーにはFIX窓を手動開閉可能な自然換気窓に改修していただきました。自然換気を増強することで、省エネルギー効果に加えて感染症対策にも寄与します。　また、従来のオフィス空間の均一な光・温熱環境による快適性ではなく、執務室内の状況に応じて照明や空調を部分的に停止させ、あえて不均質なムラのある環境をつくることで、社員に省エネルギーを意識した行動変容を促します。Implementing Carbon-Neutral InitiativesThrough the WorkplaceIn collaboration with Ginsen Co., Ltd., the owner of the building, we undertook an experiment in energy conserva-tion renovation of an existing building. As the building tenant, Nikken Sekkei will experiment and test various environments and provide feedback to the owner in order to co-create solutions for achieving carbon neutrality. In one initiative, we asked the owner to upgrade the fixed windows to manually openable windows. By enhancing natu-ral ventilation, the windows will contribute to energy conser-vation as well as infection control. The new design encourages energy-saving behavior among employees such as shutting off lights and air conditioning in sparsely populated areas, creating an environment that is more dynamic and varied than conventional office spaces where comfort is achieved through uniform lighting and thermal controls.
