Reflecting one of Yanmar’s fields of business, the exterior design is modeled after a ship, and the aluminum louvers that envelop the building lend it an air of refine-ment, creating a subtle yet strong presence in the surrounding architectural landscape. Wall greening visible from all of the com-mon office areas and a hydroponic greening system lining the atrium at the podium- level retail floors are among a host of bio-philic design elements that deliver signifi-cant added value to the building.08東京駅前という好立地を活かした、企業ブランディング拠点として位置付けられたヤンマー東京支社の建替え計画です。事業フィールドである船舶を模した外観デザインとし、アルミルーバーによる繊細な表情が、東京駅前ビル群の中で静かに存在感を放ちます。オフィス共用部のどこからでも緑を感じることができる壁面緑化、低層商業フロアの吹き抜けを取り囲む水耕栽培緑化など、バイオフィリックデザインを取り入れた付加価値の高いビルを目指しました。企業ブランドを乗せて世界へ出航する“船”Architecture to Project a Corporate Brand
