NEWSNEWS03立教女学院高等学校校舎・講堂St. Margaret’s Senior High School Building and Auditorium ［Photography : エスエス／SS］BD World Architecture 100 2024 （January 2024 issue）広島県庁舎Hiroshima Prefectural Government Office ［Photography : 建築写／Kenchikusha］立教女学院高等学校校舎・講堂、広島県庁舎が第33回BELCA賞ロングライフ部門を受賞しました。BELCA賞は、ビルのロングライフ化に寄与することを目的として設けられた、既存建築物に対する表彰制度です。本賞は2部門あり、ロングライフ部門は、長期使用を考慮した設計のもとで建設されるとともに、長年にわたり適切に維持保全され、さらに、今後、相当の期間にわたって維持保全が計画されている、模範的な建築物が選定されます。The school building and auditorium of St. Margaret’s Senior High School, along with the Hiroshima Prefectural Government Building, received the 33rd BELCA Award in the Long Life category. The BELCA Awards were established to promote longevity in existing buildings. The Long Life category—one of two awards—recognizes exempla-ry buildings that have been designed for long-term use and properly maintained and preserved over the years, as well as buildings that are intended to be maintained and preserved for a considerable period of time.英国の建築雑誌『Building Design (BD)』が毎年1月号で発表している世界の設計事務所ランキング「World Architecture 100 (WA100)」にて、所属アーキテクト数（『BD』定義による有資格者数）で5位、年間決算ランキングでは25部門でトップ10入りし、多様な分野、地域などでランクインすることができました。ご支援賜りました皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。In its January 2024 issue, the British architectural magazine Building Design (BD) announced World Architecture 100 (WA 100), its annual compendium of global architecture firms. Nikken Sekkei was ranked fifth in the world in number of profes-sional architects employed (BD definition of licensure). In total, Nikken Sekkei placed in the top 10 in 25 categories spanning diverse areas of expertise and regions.
