The new company’s business began operations in October 2023. From 2024, the new subsidiary is fully operational with 12 employees including three from Japan. The new subsidiary will employ local staff in urban planning and architectural design to provide more agile and timely services close to clients. It will provide master planning services for new towns and resorts, residential, offices, public facilities, and logistics and production complexes. This year, three projects, including the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi, will be completed. NSVN is committed to com-pleting more urban and architectural projects to serve Vietnamese society.日建設計と、日建スペースデザインは、2024年4月1日を以って合併し、日建設計を存続会社としました。日建スペースデザインは30年にわたり皆様へ上質な空間提案ができるよう努力を続けてきました。今般の合併により、引き続き高品質な空間を提案し、クライアントのご要望にきめ細かく応えていきたいと考えています。　新しい体制のもと、今後求められるであろう良好な建築ストックを有効活用する手法や、カーボンニュートラル関連の実現手段などについても提案を行い、五感に響く空間体験を提供していきます。これを機に、役職員一同新たな決意をもって鋭意努力いたします。Nikken Sekkei and Nikken Space Design merged on April 1, 2024, with Nikken Sekkei as the continuing company. Nikken Space Design provided high-quality space design solutions to clients over a span of 30 years. With this merger, Nikken Sekkei will continue to propose high-quality spaces and respond to clients’ requests in a fine-tuned manner. Under the new structure, we will also propose approaches for effective utiliza-tion of good existing building stock— a solution likely to be required in the future and means for achieving carbon neutrality—while at the same time providing spatial experiences that resonate with all the senses.
