NEWS日建設計が設計を担当したアラブ首長国連邦・ドバイの「One Za’abeel」プロジェクトは、2024年3月1日、世界最長のキャンチレバーを有する建築としてギネス・ワールド・レコーズTMに認定されました。　交通量の多い高速道路の両側に立つ2つのタワーを、地上100mに位置する全長230mのブリッジ「The Link」がつないでいます。高度なエンジニアリングによって、先端部はタワーから67.277mの長さで延びる世界最長のキャンチレバーとなっています。ドバイ中心部への入口に位置するOne Za’abeelは、そのアイコニックなフォルムによって、ドバイ国際空港から首都への新たな「玄関口」となりました。The Nikken Sekkei-designed One Za’abeel project in Dubai, U.A.E., has made architecture history as the world’s Longest Cantilevered Building, as determined by Guinness World RecordsTM on March 1, 2024. Suspended 100 meters above ground, the project’s skybridge, called “The Link,” measures 230 meters in length and joins the site’s two towers built on opposite sides of a busy highway. Its celebrated cantilevered portion extends 67.277 meters beyond the main tower. One Za’abeel stands as a remarkable engineering achievement at the entrance to Dubai’s downtown area, close to the Dubai International Airport. Its impressive form serves as a gateway for visitors to the U.A.E. capital.日建設計は、株式会社日本政策投資銀行、DBJアセットマネジメント株式会社とともに、不動産業界のネットゼロ実現に向けた環境改修モデルの構築とその普及・浸透を目的とするゼロエネルギーリノベーションプロジェクト“ゼノベ”を推進していきます。その第一弾として、3社で設立した私募ファンドを活用し、大阪の「日建ビル1号館」の環境改修を実施します。建築工事費の高騰や建築物の建て替えに伴う環境負荷が懸念されるなか、資源の有効活用を目指す“ゼノベ”を推進し、本プロジェクトの社会的意義や活動に賛同くださる方々とともに“ゼノベ”の輪を広めていきたいと考えています。Nikken Sekkei is collaborating with the Development Bank of Japan Inc. and DBJ Asset Management Co., Ltd. to promote the Zero Energy Renovation (“Zenove”) Project. The project aims to develop and foster an environmental refurbishment model for achieving net-zero energy consumption in the real estate industry. As the initial step, we will begin refurbishment of the Nikken Building No. 1 in Osaka, utilizing a private placement fund established by the three participating companies. Our advancement of the Zenove Project, which focuses on efficient use of resources, comes amid concerns over steeply rising construction costs and the environmental impact associated with building replacement.
