Phoogaphytr t｜伊藤彰［アイフォト］／Akira Ito [aifoo]同志社大学寧静館 Doshisha University Neiseikan31赤煉瓦の重要文化財が立ち並ぶ、今出川キャンパスでの教室棟建替え計画です。教室に外廊下を回した“田の字プラン”として採光を確保しながら、間仕切りの自由度を格段に高めています。煉瓦積みの外装によりキャンパスの風景を引き継ぎ、時代のニーズにあった教室・フロア構成を小規模な改修で可能とする、永く使い続けるための学校建築を目指しました。This project focused on the reconstruc-tion of a classroom building on Doshisha University’s Imadegawa Campus, which has a number of red brick buildings that are designated Important Cultural Properties. The floor plan was designed in a regular quadrant (ta-no-ji) layout often seen in traditional Japanese dwellings. This plan, in which the classrooms are surrounded by an exterior corridor, allowed for natural lighting while also providing a much greater degree of freedom in partitioning. The brick exterior, meanwhile, ensures the building remains true to the visual character of the campus.
