2025 SUMMER63NEWS03NEWS［以下、選評より抜粋］日建設計と日建ハウジングシステムは、2025年4月1日を以って合併し、日建設計を存続会社としました。日建ハウジングシステムは、50年以上にわたり集合住宅などの設計において豊富な知見を活かし、「暮らし」の仕組みづくりを通じて住関連分野で信頼あるブランドを築いてまいりました。今般の合併により、住関連分野におけるさらなる成長を目指し、高度化・複雑化する社会課題の解決にも大きく貢献できると考えています。新しい体制のもと、住関連分野の価値提供体系を再編し、クライアントの信頼を高めることで、社会に評価される専門家集団として持続的に発展していくことを目指します。これを機に、役職員一同新たな決意をもって鋭意努力いたします。「高槻城公園芸術文化劇場」が2025年日本建築学会賞（作品）を受賞いたしました。同賞は、一般社団法人日本建築学会が設けている国内で最も権威のある建築の賞とされています。建築とは諸々の技術を統合しながら、優れた空間の実現を志向するものである。またそれが公共施設ならば、施主や条件の特殊性に閉じることなく、同時代性を受けとめながら、より良い社会と環境を広く生みだすことに貢献することが求められる。以上の前提を踏まえたとき、「高槻城公園芸術文化劇場」は、意匠、計画、環境、材料、構造など、建築的な総合性を高い水準で獲得しており、その上で、学会賞としてふさわしい新しい実験や挑戦を遂行した突出した作品として評価できる。2025年日本建築学会賞（作品）に高槻城公園芸術文化劇場が選定されましたTakatsuki Arts Theatre Wins Architectural Institute of Japan Prize 2025 日建設計と日建ハウジングシステムの合併Merger of Nikken Sekkei and Nikken Housing System On April 1, 2025, Nikken Sekkei and Nikken Housing System formally merged, with Nikken Sekkei as the surviving entity. For more than 50 years, Nikken Housing System has built a trusted brand in the residential sector by leveraging its substan-tial expertise in designing multifamily and other types of housing and shaping the systems that support daily life. Through this merger, we aim to accelerate growth in the residential domain and contribute more broadly to solving increasingly complex challenges in today’s society. Under the new structure, we hope to reorganize and strengthen our value delivery system in the field of housing, deepen client trust, and evolve as a widely recognized team of experts. This milestone also marks an opportu-nity for our executives and staff to pursue a renewed commitment to excellence.The Takatsuki Arts Theatre has been awarded the Architectural Institute of Japan Prize 2025 (Architectural Design category), the country’s most prestigious architec-tural award, presented by the Architectural Institute of Japan. In the case of public facilities, this integration must extend beyond specific clients or constraints—it must resonate with the current times in order to contribute positively to both society and the natural environment. The Takatsuki Arts Theatre meets these expectations, achieving architectural excellence across its design, planning, environmental sensitivity, materials, and structure.
