A skyscraper that opens to the city and connects to the environment

A skyscraper with offices and an art museum located in Kyobashi, near Tokyo Station. The client’s request: a design that “embodies the cutting edge of a modern social environment and technology.” Features include a computational design inspired by Japanese-style veranda, yielding aluminum louvers that connect inside and outside. A skip-floor rooftop garden fuses nature and the office. A circular open workplace and an open art museum round out a space where city and art are joined, creating a stimulating work experience.
