Our Insights

Since the foundation of our company in 1900, many achievements were generated and built from efforts taken day in and day out. While fine tuning them under the shared philosophy of meeting the needs of the particular age, these achievements were carried on in Nikken Sekkei’s design as they continued to steadily evolve.
The position taken here is one of pursuing high quality and comfortable environments for users and society, which is not carried away by technology for technology’s sake or blind acceptance of design trends. Although what we do may change in form from Japanese architecture, which values harmony with nature, to office buildings in cities, this is our DNA that has been embedded deep in the organization since our beginnings.
