In today’s world, forcibly transforming cities based solely on developers’ logic is no longer sustainable. To improve the quality of life in high-density cities, collaboration with surrounding projects is key.It is important to create more public spaces that resonate with the area’s unique characteristics and historical context, while maintaining a selfless perspective even as we consider our own interests. At the forum, Nikken Sekkei presented numerous urban regeneration projects it has undertaken and shared its experience in realizing urban environments with genuine human appeal through urban regeneration.
