“HNS 60th: Creating in the North”—Hokkaido Nikken Sekkei 60th Anniversary Special Exhibition Opens
Since its founding in 1956, Hokkaido Nikken Sekkei has been engaged in architecture and urban development suited to Hokkaido’s climate, natural environment, and culture.
The design and planning methodologies for snowy, cold regions that we have cultivated through this process are not limited to Hokkaido; they are also valuable in other parts of the world with similarly cold climates, and we consider them one of the tools for the global strategy being promoted by the Nikken Group.
In this exhibition, titled “Building in the North,” we present examples of the experience and achievements Hokkaido Nikken Sekkei has accumulated over the past 60 years.
