He was involved in innovative transportation infrastructure projects, such as the expansion of the domestic terminal at Naha Airport and the renovation of Kannai Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway, and was also responsible for the China International Urban Design Competition and the architectural design of educational facilities.
In 2015, he joined Nikken Sekkei. He has been leading projects focused on planning studies for integrated station-town development across China. Leveraging his practical experience as a “Certified Urban Planner” and his knowledge as a Japanese “Registered Architect,” he is responsible for “feasible” urban design work that bridges the gap between master planning and architectural design. As an urban design expert in a wide range of fields—including TOD development, urban renewal, and the development of new towns integrating industry and urban areas—I aim to serve as a bridge between the Japanese and Chinese architecture industries. I am a State-Certified Urban Planner in China and a PMP.
