Since joining Nikken Sekkei in 1993, he has been involved in identifying and securing overseas projects in China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, as well as establishing and managing overseas offices. He has been involved in projects such as the Japanese School in Shanghai (Pudong Campus) in China, the National Museum of History in Hanoi, Vietnam, and the Burj Al Arab Tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. From 2004 to 2006, he was stationed in Shanghai, where he was responsible for identifying projects in China and establishing and managing a local subsidiary to expand the firm’s operations there. Since 2011, he has been stationed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he has been involved in securing projects to expand operations in the Middle East, Russia, the CIS, and India, as well as in the establishment and management of local offices.
